As a part of San Francisco State University's Journalism curriculum, students produce stories for the campus's publications, The Golden Gate Xpress and Xpress Magazine. Shooting photos and videos for these publications offered me the opportunity to work on a wide array of stories, from covering campus events to profiling teachers who drum in local punk bands.
